12 pints and several baggies

lol now that I got you all wondering what I am talking about mom and I put up several baggies of spinach and a couple of beet greens, today we canned 12 pints of stewed maters, they look pretty good if you ask me. And for the heck of it here is a pic of one of the as I call them rusty sunflowers a friend gave us, I am going to keep the seeds and replant them next spring, they are such a beautiful color

I made salsa the other day from some maters I got from my boss I got 5 pints of salsa and 4 pints of mater juice it looks pretty good if you ask me lol

Mom found our pheonix roo dead in the barn yesterday morning
he was the beautiful roo in my banner and in the pic laying with on of our does
he was pretty old
Him a few hens and another pheonix came over from our neighbors, lol they would come over and visit and a few years ago desided to stay over here lol
We have several pheonix crosses now cause of them, he will be missed, I loved seeing his tail blowing in the breeze.

Treats for Duff lotsa treats

this is one of our dogs Duff he stays outside

he was a very good boy tonight

cause when a racoon was chaseing some of our hens

they ran past Duff with the coon in hot persuite

and Duff pounced on and killed the coom

Duff got a lil mark on his leg lol he is a very active doggy and that is why there is such a big spot of blukote on his leglol he would not stay still

oh yah he like to hang his tongue out a lot heh

Duff got a great big hand full of doggy treats tonight

He is such a good boy

nasty storm here last night

knocked off a bunch of tree limbs lol and we olny have the two tree's by the barn this is out back of the barn 4 large limbs fell off of this tree, the cows were just a munching away o them this morning

this is out front of the barn this one had me worried as it was right on the fence

thanks goodness nothing was broke phew

this is a diffent veiw of the front tree

We had our friend with a chain saw come cut the limbs so we could get them away from the fence, the goats are gonna be very happy when we let them back out into the main psature lol

and just forthe heck of it here is our youngest kid with his buddy,the roo baby
and if that kid does not see the roo he screams his bloody head off til he finds him he will go looking its the cutest thing lol
